IMPORTANT
Before installing VAPORSPRINT, it is necessary to set up an protected electrical socket
suitable to its power (it is better to use an earth protector thermo-magnetic switch 16 A ld
30 mA).
This ironing board is not suitable for people (children included) with physical or mental
handicaps or inexperienced persons, unless they are instructed by a person who takes the
responsibility for their safety. Children must not play with the ironing board.
3.
OPENING OF PACKAGE
1.
Open the box containing VAPORSPRINT, take the manual of instructions and read it
carefully.
2.
Remove the ironing board mod. VAPORSPRINT from the box, insert the cable
support deep into the special hole (fig.1).
3.
Fix the spring to the support hook, avoiding entwining (fig. 1).
4.
Place the iron on the rubber iron rest supplied with the machine (fig. 1).
5.
Unscrew hand-wheel “1” till leg support is unhooked (fig. 1).

Put the ironing board on horizontal position pressing point

(fig. 1).
7.
Press point
B
of the leg support till it stops (fig. 1).
8.
Screw hand-wheel “2” in order to block the leg support (fig. 1).
ATTENTION:
make sure the board is fixed before starting to iron.
4.
CONNECTION AND STARTING
With VAPORSPRINT switched off and disconnected plug:
1.
Unscrew the safety valve plug from VAPORSPRINT (fig. 1 and fig. 3) and fill the
boiler with water to the desired level paying attention not to overfill it. It is
advisable to use a funnel. Take the plug by the plastic part and screw it again: do
not tighten too much or its gasket might get spoilt (see section 7).
N.B.
make sure the exhaust tap of the boiler is closed (fig. 1).

Insert the plug into a 230 V 16 A socket.
3.
Switch on the boiler (fig. 2 C), the board (fig. 2 B) and the iron switch (fig. 2 D)
and adjust the thermostat of the iron (fig. 4) on “cotton”.

Wait for the boiler lamp to switch off (fig. 2 E). At this point seize the iron by cork
handle and press the micro-switch of the iron (fig. 5) 4 or 5 times, so that steam
comes out. It is important to make sure that the steam is saturated (by pressing
the micro-switch with the iron pointed towards the floor). You can adjust the steam
flux by turning the knob placed on the solenoid valve (fig. 3). Now everything is
ready for ironing. During ironing operation, the boiler lamp switches on and off (fig.
2 E) signalling that the machine is working properly.
5.
For steam ironing, it is necessary to leave the table’s heating on to avoid forming
of condensation on the ironing board (fig. 2 B).
