Before starting a work:
Check that the trigger and safety switches move freely, without forcing, and
return automatically and quickly back to their neutral position:
Check that the handles and protectors are clean and dry, properly assembled and
securely attached to the tool.
Make sure that the tool does not show signs of wear or damage due to blows or
other causes and perform the necessary repairs.
Check that the battery is in good working condition and there are no signs of
damage.
NEVER
use a battery that is damaged or worn. Charge the battery according to the
charging instructions section.

Always remove the battery from the tool when installing parts, making
adjustments, cleaning, transporting or when not in use. This prevents it from the
machine turns on accidentally, which could cause serious personal injury.
NOTE: To avoid serious personal injury, when moving or transporting the
tool, always remove the battery and keep your hands away from the lock
button.
Slide the battery towards the base of the saw pole, Fig. 3. (page 82). Note that the
battery has grooves that allow it to be placed in only one way. Make sure that the
battery fits securely in the tool before starting to operate it. Improper installation
can damage internal components.
Before starting the engine:
Remove blade guards;
Make sure the blades do not touch the ground or any other object. Make sure the
handle is locked and in the center position. Place the battery on the bottom of the
hedge trimmer.

Always follow safety regulations and apply the most appropriate

Handling
Whenever the tool is handled or transported you must:
Turn off the engine, wait for the blades to stop and remove the battery from
its compartment; take the tool only from the handles and with the blades in
the opposite direction to the one used during operation.
When using a vehicle to transport the tool, position it so that it can not cause
danger to people and securely secure it.
Before approaching a work for the first time, it is advisable to familiarize
yourself with the most appropriate tool and techniques, know how to take it
firmly and train the movements required for the particular work to be done.
