**** Generally, you should defrost your Fridge-
Freezer at least twice a year, like this:
NOTE:
You must defrost your freezer when there is more than 5mm of
frost covering the shelves.
Do not use sharp metal objects to scrape frost with (they could damage
the fridge circuit irreparably). Use the plastic scraper provided.
•
Remove the food and wrap it in several layers of paper or
newspaper and keep it in a refrigerator or in another cool place.
•
Bear in mind that an increase in the food temperature
considerably decreases the preservation time.
To accelerate
defrosting,
place one or
more basins of
warm water in
the freezer
compartment.
Dry the inside of
the compartment
with a sponge or a
clean cloth.
Once the unit has
been defrosted,
place the food
back into freezer.
Remember that the
frozen food’s
storage life has
been reduced and
so items should be
consumed after a
short period.
WARNING – Do not use mechanical devices or other artificial
methods to accelerate defrosting other than those
recommended by the manufacturer.
