o
The fridge section can maintain a temperature of between -1–
5°C.
o
The freezer section can cool down to -18°C and lower.
o
IMPORTANT:
The ambient temperature of the room,
the temperature of food and the amount of food that
has been placed in the fridge freezer and how often the
door is opened, will all affect the temperature being
maintained by the appliance.
o
On the maximum setting your fridge freezer will work harder to
maintain a lower temperature. There is no need to run your
appliance at this setting for prolonged periods. Unless you are
freezing fresh food, you should have the digital thermostat set to
“NOR”.
o
If the unit is switched off or unplugged, you must allow at least 5
minutes before restarting the appliance on the thermostat or
reconnecting it to your mains supply.
The “S-Cool” function
o
Activating the “S-Cool” setting will give instant cooling with a
powerful supply of cold air. This function can only be used in the
refrigerator section.
o
This function may be used when quicker cooling is required for
instance, to cool fresh food or a large amount of food.
o
Press the “S-Cool” button and the “S-Cool” neon will flash and an
audible signal will sound. Press the “S-Cool” button again and it
will begin to cycle through the other neons on the control panel.
o
When the relevant neon is lit, wait for approximately five
seconds and the temperature will be set as shown in the table
below:
STEP MIN LOW-NOR NOR HIGH-NOR MAX
TEMP
5°C 4°C 3°C 1°C -1°C
o
There is no need to use the appliance with “S-Cool” activated for
prolonged periods. The appliance should be returned to the
“NOR” setting during everyday operation.
o
Approximately forty minutes after activating the “S-Cool”
function, the appliance will return to normal operation mode.
