Low ambient temperature switch
Your appliance is designed to operate correctly in an ambient
temperature of b16°C to +32°C.
o
If the ambient temperature falls below +16°C, then you may
find that the fridge and freezer sections of the appliance do not
function normally.
o
To allow your fridge freezer to operate correctly between a
temperature of +10°C to +32°C, there is a low ambient
temperature switch fitted on the appliance. It is located next to
the thermostat knob.
o
If the ambient temperature in the room that the appliance is
located in falls below +16°C, then you should turn the low
ambient temperature switch on.
If the switch is pressed down on the larger snowflake symbol,
then the low ambient temperature switch is ON.
If the switch is pressed down on the smaller snowflake
symbol, then the low ambient temperature switch is OFF.
o
There is no need to adjust the thermostat knob to a higher
number if the ambient temperature falls below +16°C.
o
IMPORTANT: The lower ambient temperature switch
should ONLY be used when the ambient temperature falls
below +16°C. It should not be used permanently,
otherwise it may cause the compressor to overwork and
burn out.
