Storage 

Cutting edges on the saw chain are sharp. Use protective gloves when handling the saw chain. 

If the tool is to be stored for more than 30 days, follow steps below: 
1.  Remove the battery from the tool. 
2. 

Charge the battery

 

3.  Remove and clean the guide bar and chain. Clean the guide bar and chain by soaking in petroleum 

based solvent or mild soap and water mixture. 

4.  Dry the guide bar and chain. 
5.  Place the chain in container filled with oil to prevent corrosion. 
6.  Wipe a thin coating of oil over the surface of the guide bar. 
7. 

Clean the saw body

. 

8.  Store the tool and battery with the chain sheath over the guide bar in a secure, dry location out of the 

reach of children.
