Static IP Address Configuration
Configuring PathWay Access for a static IP address requires configuring both PathWay Access and FastLink II
for the same static IP address.
To configure PathWay Access for a static IP address:

Run the PathWay Access setup utility PWSETUP.EXE in DOS or in a DOS box from Windows.

Choose Configuration from the utility menu bar, and then select Modify Site Parameters.

In the dialog box entitled Configuration Setup for Site Parameters, enter your static IP address in
the IP Address field.

Enter your gateway IP address n the Default Gateway Address field.

Set the Number of subnet mask bits field to the number required for your IP subnet mask. (For
example, 27 bits would support the mask 225.225.225.224.)

Enter your static IP address in the IP Address field.

Type
[Ctrl]-[Enter]
followed by
Y
to overwrite the previous settings.
To configure FastLink II for a static IP address:

Run FastLink II, and select the Connections button at the left of the screen. Highlight the Connect
drop-down box, and select the connection whose settings you want to set for your IP connection.

Click on the
[IP Protocol Settings]
button, and check the Static IP address button.

Highlight the Address field and enter your static IP address.
