Chapter 5 Setup Mode Basics
Annex Manager User Guide
Part 2 Setup Mode
When a Setup window first appears, each field automatically displays a
value based on the Annexes or ports you selected. If the Annexes or ports
you selected:
•
Have the same settings for a field, the current value appears
automatically. For example, if you choose several ports that use
the same type of modem, the modem name appears in the
Name
field.
•
Do not have values set for a text field, that field displays " ".
•
Have different settings, a field does not display a value:
•
Text fields and option menus appear blank.
•
Radio buttons appear with no buttons selected.
If you select multiple Annexes or ports and you want
to view or change values for a single Annex or port,
you can return to the main window or the
Edit Async
Ports
window to select a single Annex or port.
Using Push Buttons
When you choose a
Setup
field option, the windows that appear use the
following push buttons:
•
sets any changes you made in a window for the
Annexes you selected. If you chose
Confirm Auto Reset
from the
Options menu of the main window, and you make changes that
require the Annexes you selected to be reset, the Reset
Parameters window appears. If you did not choose
Confirm Auto
Reset
, Annex Manager resets values without notifying you.
