If your control test result is out of range, do not
use your meter for blood glucose testing until you
resolve the issue. See “What You Should Do” on
page 45.

The meter will count down
for 5 seconds and the
control test result will
display on the meter.
It will be automatically
marked as a control test
and stored in the Diary.
Control test results will not
be included in your blood
glucose averages or the
7 day HI-LO summary.
NOTE: The does not indicate the control test
result is within the specified range. It only marks it
as a control solution test. It will not be included in
your averages.

Immediately touch the
tip
of the test strip to the
drop of control solution.
The solution is pulled
into the test strip through
the tip.

Remove the test strip
and dispose of it as
medical waste or as
advised by your health
care professional.

Compare your control test result
with the range printed on the test
strip bottle or the bottom of the test
strip box.
