Boat Lifting
•
Always follow the lift equipment’s
instructions and requirements.
•
When lifting your boat, always
position the lifting slings at the
port and starboard lifting sling
label positions as shown in
the illustration.
PERSONAL INJURY and/or PRODUCT or PROPERTY DAMAGE HAZARD!

Lifting slings can slip on the hull, which could cause serious injury or death.
•
Reduce the risk of sling slippage by ALWAYS securing the lifting slings together
BEFORE lifting.

NEVER lift any boat using the cleats, or the bow and stern eyes.

Water in the bilge can shift and change the balance of the load.
•
If water is present in the bilge, pump or drain the water out of the bilge areas BEFORE lift-
ing your boat.

When lifting any boat, ALWAYS use a spreader bar. The spreader bar MUST be equal to the
width of your boat at each lifting point.
