1. Switch the pump on.
2. Open the in-line clamp. Ensure no
drops are falling in drip chamber. Prime
infusion set by pressing

. While
FILL
is
displayed, press
b
again and hold until
all visible air is cleared from the line.
3. Connect the infusion set to the patient
access device. Enter rate using
h
/
f
.
Press
e
once to confirm rate and scroll
to VTBI.
4. Enter VTBI using
h
/
f
, or, if using a
flow sensor, VTBI can be
switched off by scrolling until
OFF
is
displayed. Press
e
once to confirm VTBI
and scroll to VI.
5. If necessary, press
c
to clear VI.
6. Press
d
to start the infusion.
