TROUBLESHOOTING
Malfunction
Possible solution
Steam cooking or mixing
does not work
- Check that the bowl is locked on the base and
that the lid is positioned properly on the bowl
- Connect the BABYCOOK to a 120V electricity
supply

Check that the power cable is connected
properly beneath the base of the device
The bowl leaks
- Check that the lid’s seal is inserted into the bowl
properly (refer to the paragraph on inserting the
lid’s seal)
- Check that the lid is locked correctly to the
locking arm
- Check that the basket is positioned correctly in
the STET bowl
The lid does not close
My fruit and vegetables
are not cooked at the end
of the cycle
Fill the bowl again with water up to level 1, 2 or
3 according to the programme chosen and pour
the water into the reservoir
It does not heat enough
or the food is not cooked
enough
Descale the BABYCOOK’s reservoir only with
water and distilled white vinegar (refer to the
descaling paragraph on page 7)
There is a water leak
under the bowl
- Check that the gasket is mounted correctly on
the blade (refer to the maintenance paragraph
on page 7)
- Check the condition of the blade’s gasket and
replace gasket if necessary
Unpleasant smell coming
from BABYCOOK
Some food have become lodged in the steam
heating compartment/reservoir. Follow the
