Area Alarm Power-Up
Chapter 1: Introduction
b. The second LED (DA) indicates whether the Ethernet is connected prop-
erly.

Solid ON indicates that the Ethernet is wired properly.
–
Solid OFF indicates that the wiring is bad or that the network is not
activated.
c. The third LED (DB) indicates when an Ethernet packet of information is
being sent or received. It flashes both when sending and receiving infor-
mation.

When the network is activated, sending and receiving information
starts.
If the following shows on the display (BH) (see figure 1-57 on page 1–115),

the Area Alarm Module has not been factory-programmed. Send it back to
BeaconMedæs (see “Service Parts Ordering” on page 5–4).
6. If the Area Alarm is functioning properly, lock the front panel (DF).
