Power Supply Fuse Holder
Chapter 4: Removal, Replacement, and Adjustment Procedures
4.16 Power Supply Fuse Holder
Tools required:
Needle nose pliers
5/32" hex wrench
or
Phillips head screwdriver
Removal
Shock Hazard:
Turn off the source power to the alarm, and leave it off during the installa-
tion of any component or sub-assembly. Failure to do so could result in
personal injury or equipment damage.
1. Turn off power to the alarm at the facility’s source.
2. Depending on which alarm you are replacing the fuse on, take one of the fol-
lowing steps:
•
Unless the replacement is being performed on a Local Alarm, use a
5/32" hex wrench to unlock the front panel (A) (see figure 4-17 on page
4–43).
•
When changing the power supply fuse holder in the Local Alarm, use a
phillips head screwdriver to remove the front panel.
