Chapter 1: Introduction
•
Increment key
(BC)—If the module is in monitoring mode, press the
Increment key
to display the high setting. If the module is in configura-
tion mode, press it to scroll up the menu.
•
Decrement key
(BD)—If the module is in monitoring mode, press the
Decrement key
to display the low setting. If the module is in configura-
tion mode, press it to scroll down the menu.
•
Silence key
(BF)—Silences the audible alarm.
•
Test key
(BE)—If the module is in monitoring mode, press the
Test key
to start the self-diagnostic routine for the Area Alarm Module. If the
module is in configuration mode, press it to view current settings.
The rough-in assembly is installed prior to the dry wall installation. The front
panel mounts to the rough-in assembly after the dry wall is finished.
NOTE:
The MedPlus TotalAlert® Alarm Network Conversion Kit is shipped with a
frame. The frame is surface-mounted to the dry wall around the existing rough-in
box. Then, the front panel mounts to the frame.
They are both shipped at the same time; however, the front panel is in its own
carton to provide better protection for the electronic components and for safe
storage until it is installed.
