Local Alarm
The Local Alarm consists of a front panel (AI) and a back box (AH) (see figure
1-9 on page 1–19).

The features of the front panel on the Local Alarm are as follows:
•
Silence key
(BL)—Silences the audible alarm.
•
Test key
(BK)—Tests the LEDs and the audible alarm.
•
Labels
(BI)—Show which inputs are being monitored.
•
LED indicators
(BJ)—Light either green or red depending on the alarm
status.
Both parts of the Local Alarm are installed at the same time.
The back box (AH) mounts to any flat surface, typically the wall in the source
equipment room; and the front panel (AI) mounts to the back box.
