Configuring the Master Alarm Using the Front Panel
Chapter 1: Introduction
CAUTION:
Assign a Gas Type to all of the connected inputs. If there is an input sig-
nal wired to the Master Alarm that has not been assigned, the display
shows: Input # - Message Not Assigned.
9. When the display shows the next option,
Input 1 - Gas Type

press the
Test key
to scroll through the following choices:
Medical Air
Medical Vacuum
WAGD
Oxygen
Nitrogen
Nitrous Oxide
Carbon Dioxide Oxy. Carb. Mix
Helium
Argon
Lab Air
Dental Air
Instrument Air
Lab Vacuum
Dental Vacuum
Unused
10. Press the
Silence key
to select one.
NOTE:
If Unused is selected as the Gas Type the menu goes to the next Input number.
Otherwise, the display advances to the next option, which is Message.
11. Ensure that the input signal number corresponds to the proper wiring location
as documented on the Master Alarm Input Signal Data Table (see table 1-27
on page 1–56).
12. When the display shows the next option,
Input 1 - Message
,
press the
Test key
to scroll through the choices (see table 1-28 on page
1–57).
13. Press the
Silence key
to select one.
NOTE:
If you use the Web pages to configure the Master Alarm, you can customize mes-
sages.
When there are multiple systems for the same type of gas or vacuum, configuring
a
System
number helps to identify the source.
