3  Cautions

Any unsecure inlaid articles may become loose during the cleaning process.

Articles that are easily discoloured are not recommended for ultrasonic cleaning.  For

example: textiles, leather products, wood ware, etc.

After long periods of cleaning, the water will become hot.  Take care when removing

the cleaned article so as to prevent injury.

It is highly recommended that you check the use and care instructions of any articles

you wish to clean in this appliance, or check with the manufacturer of the item to be

cleaned, to ensure the suitability for Ultrasonic Cleaning.  This includes, waterproof

watches, spectacles, sunglasses, etc.

NOTE:

To Avoid Overheating, allow the unit to cool down for at least 30 minutes after

each use.

4  Uses

The ultrasonic cleaner is useful for cleaning most articles such as, spectacles, sunglasses,

watch chains, necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, electric shaver  heads, razor blades,

dentures, combs, toothbrushes, watch parts, coins, badges, small machine components,

cutlery, pen heads, etc.

Note

: Waterproof Watches can also be cleaned however, they must be rated at 30 Metre

depth or greater.  Do Not place watches in the units that are not waterproof rated to 30

Meter Depth or greater as the watch may be damaged.

Important

: It is highly recommended that you check the use and care instructions of any

articles you wish to clean in this appliance, or check with the manufacturer of the item to

be cleaned, to ensure the suitability for Ultrasonic Cleaning.

If you need to clean a long article that will not fully fit in the tank, you can insert one end

first to clean, and then rotate it and insert the other end to clean.

5  Product Characteristics

As ultrasonic waves travel through the solution in the tank, they cause alternating high and

low pressures in the solution.

During the low pressure stage, millions of microscopic bubbles form and grow.  This

process is called “Cavitation”.

During the high pressure stage, the bubbles implode releasing enormous amounts of

energy.

They work in all directions, attacking dirt on the surface and also within recesses and

cavities.
