Interface Grouping
Interface grouping is a function to group interfaces, known as VLAN. A Virtual LAN, commonly known
as a VLAN, is a group of hosts with the common set of requirements that communicate as if they were
attached to the same broadcast domain, regardless of the physical location. A VLAN has the same
attributes as a physical LAN, but it allows for end stations to be grouped together even if they are not
located on the same network switch.
Similarly, they may also have been split into two different groups,
even if they are on the same switch.
Each group will perform as an independent network. To support this feature, you must create mapping
groups with appropriate LAN and WAN interfaces using the
Save
button.
Interface Grouping:
Select
Yes
to enable Interface Grouping feature.
Group Index:
The index number indicating the current group ranging from 0 to 15.
EWAN Service:
The available EWAN interface. Move to
Interface Setup
to add other EWAN interface.
SFP Service:
The available SFP interface.
Ethernet LAN:
The available Ethernet ports.
Wireless LAN:
The available wireless port(s).
Group Summary:
Press
PortBinding Summary
to check the current group information.
