Important Note:
When activated for the first time, the sliding button will push a sliding dust cover and
lock it, indicating that the beacon has been activated once (see §6.5.3 / De-activation).
MR109: ACTIVATION button position.
Indication of GPS position updates in the 406.028MHz digital message:
When GPS position is updated every 20 minutes: the LED has 3 short yellow flashes after each
406MHz Tx (after each long green flash).
When GPS position is updated, time is over 20 minutes and less than 4 hours: the LED has a short
yellow flash after each 406MHz Tx.
When the GPS position is not transmitted (set to default mode) there are no yellow flashes. This may
occur if the last GPS fix was acquired over 4 hours ago.
Whenever the system acquires correct GPS fix, the buzzer beeps 3 times.
