inverter.
7.3 SAFETY DEVICES
All protective devices installed in the unit are monitored by the control system. The critical variables such as contacts,
switches or critical system pressure are continuously updated during operation and checked for possible malfunctions
or service cases.
Oil circuit
The medium to be conveyed is monitored by the following sensor system:
• [2] Non-return valve: The non-return valve integrated in the suction line (for vacuum) or pressure line (for compressor)
prevents reverse running when the unit is switched off.
• [4] Safety valve: If the system pressure rises above the factory-set trigger value, the solenoid valve in the bypass of
the suction line (for vacuum) or discharge line (for compressor) opens. The open solenoid valve closes as soon as
the system pressure falls below the second factory-set threshold value.
Oil circuit
The oil circuit is protected by the following switches or auxiliary contacts.
• [14] Oil level switch: The oil level in the oil tank is monitored by an integrated float. This is located below the drive
motor. A critical drop in the oil level leads to a shutdown.
• [16] Oil pump: The operation of the oil pump is monitored by an auxiliary contact attached to the motor protection
switch. This auxiliary contact trips in the event of a short circuit, overload or wire breakage. The entire unit is
switched off.
• [20] Oil temperature switch: The oil temperature is monitored between the outlet of the oil cooler and the inlet to
the oil distributor. The trigger point is 60°C. If it is exceeded, the unit is shut down.
• [22] Oil filter monitoring: The degree of contamination of the filter cartridge is monitored by the maintenance switch
integrated in the oil filter housing. The display „Change oil filter“ appears periodically in the display of the frequency
