Serial Port Mapped
Variables
Variables in the Bedrock IDE that can be mapped to control programs and are
specific to operation of the serial port are shown in Figure 4-5. These variables
provide port status and diagnostic information.

CAN Bus I/O
Parameters
Parameters that are configurable in the Bedrock IDE for the OSA Remote CAN
bus port are shown in Figure 4-6 and summarized in Table 4-10.

Tx LED Enable
Set to TRUE to enable transmit LED for the serial
port
Loopback Enable
Set to TRUE to use the Rx line to verify that data
was transmitted correctly. Disables the external
receiver.
Terminator Enable
Enables 120 ohm terminator resistor (RS-422 and
RS-485 only). Used for long communication lines.
Spreader Enable
Used to reduce noise on RS-422 and RS-485 lines
