Touch ring
Touching the touch ring in a circular motion allows navigation within the menus shown
on the e-paper display. It is also possible to adjust the colour tone, light level and
colour temperature of connected luminaires, provided these functions are supported by
the luminaires.
Select button
Press and release: confirm current menu selection.
Press and release three times: Transfer the configuration from the BEGA Smart app to
the PRO Remote Control.
Back button
Press and release: go back to last menu level.
Press and hold: go back to main menu.
Press and release three times: Check for firmware update for the PRO Remote Control.

Reset to factory settings
If installation is not successful or if access via the
BEGA Smart app is no longer possible, the PRO
Remote Control should be reset to factory settings.
To do so, press any button on the PRO Remote
Control and then press the Reset button beneath
the battery cover on the back of the PRO Remote
Control for at least 5 seconds until the Data Matrix
code appears on the remote control’s e-paper
display. The PRO Remote Control has now been
reset to factory settings.
Maintenance
The installed battery (CR 1220) should be replaced
after 3 years. To do so, turn the housing cover anti-
clockwise and lift it off. Replace the battery and
then screw the housing cover back in place. Please
observe national regulations when disposing of the
battery!
