Installation
1.
Mount full demineralisation cartridge vertically
in the vicinity of the steam cleaner after mark-
ing and drilling 8 mm diameter holes for the
plugs, using the holes in the mounting angle as
a template. The casing must have a
minimum
distance to the ground of at least 30 mm
to
enable it to be opened to change the insert.
2.
Mount the cartridge with the screws provided.
3.
Connect the hose from the supply of untreated
tap water to the inlet. Do not forget to fit seal!
The pressure of the tap water must be
between 4 and 6 bar.
4.
Connect soft water hose leading to the steam
cleaner to the outlet using a seal.
5.
Connect waterstop valve, filter and conductivity
meter section in accordance with the operating
instructions for the cleaner.
6.
Remove softened water hose from the steam
cleaner and hold in a bucket.
7.
Turn the tap on to fill the cardridge. Allow 2 to
3 litres of water to flow into the bucket before
reconnecting the softened water hose to the
unit.
Operation
1.
Turn tap on.
2.
Switch on steam cleaner. The steam cleaners
are then automatically filled with softened
water.
3.
When the "µS" indicator lamp on the steam
cleaner comes on the capacity of the cartridge
is exhausted and the insert must be changed.
4.
Once work is complete switch steam cleaner
off and
turn tap off
.
