Recommended distance between portable and mobile communications equipment

The
KINET
is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment with controlled HF
interferences. The customer or the user of the
KINET
can avoid electromagnetic interference
by respecting and observing the minimum distance between portable and mobile HF
telecommunication devices (transmitters) and the
KINET
depending on the rated output of the
communication device as given below.

For transmitters rated at a maximum output power not listed above, the recommended
separation distance

frequency of the transmitter, where

is the maximum output power rating of the transmitter in
watts (W) according to the specifications given by the transmitter manufacturer.
NOTE 1:
At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the separation distance for the higher frequency range
applies.
NOTE 2:
These guidelines could not apply to all situations. Electromagnetic propagation is
affected by absorption and reflection from structures, objects and people.
