13.3 Front castor replacement
Image 1:
Required tools:
1 ratchet 17 mm
1 open-ended spanner
22 mm
1 T-wrench 6 mm
Image 2:
Additional parts/tools:
1 front castor
1 thread-locking fluid
(medium tight)
Image 3:
Remove the cover.
Use the ratchet and
T-wrench to remove
the front castor.
Image 4:
The image shows
the screw with
retaining nut and
spacer.
Image 5:
Insert the screw
through the opening
from top to
assemble the new
castor. Then install
the spacer at the
screw. Install the
retaining nut from
the bottom.
Image 6:
Prior to screwing a
new castor, you
must apply thread
lock fluid (
medium
tight at least 21
Nm
) to the thread of
the screw.
Caution: The thread-locking fluid must dry at least 3 hours before the device can
be loaded.
Should you use thread lock fluid from another manufacturer, the drying times
specified by this manufacturer must be observed!
Re-assemble in reversed order!
