Plug the conditioned replacement
BEKA BA491 battery into the
instrument. Ensure that the two pins
on the instrument printed circuit board
are correctly aligned with the socket on
the battery and then replace the two ‘E’
screws.

Reassemble the instrument enclosure.
Before replacing the terminal cover
turn the instrument ON by moving the
slide switch to the right.

Disposal of used batteries
The BEKA BA491 battery contains
Lithium
Thionyl Chloride cells that should not be
included with standard industrial waste. Do not
incinerate.
