DISCLAIMER / WARNING (EN)
Some (simple) defects can be handled correctly by the end user without giving rise to safety
problems or unsafe use, provided they are carried out within the limits and in accordance with
the following instructions (see chapter “Self-repair”) .
For this reason, unless otherwise permitted in the “Self-Repair” section below, repairs must be performed by
registered professional technicians to avoid safety issues. A registered professional mechanic is a
professional mechanic who has been granted access to the instructions and spare parts list of this product
by the manufacturer, in accordance with the methods described in legal acts in accordance with Directive
2009/125/EC.
However, the maintenance and repair work under the warranty conditions may only be carried
out by the specialized representative (ie authorized professional technicians) who can be
reached at the telephone number indicated in the user manual/warranty card or via your
authorized dealer. For this reason, repairs performed by professional technicians (not
authorized by Beko) will void the warranty.
Self-repair
The self-repair can be performed by the end user with regard to the following spare parts: door, hinges
and seal, other seals, door lock assembly and plastic peripherals such as detergent compartments (an
updated list will also be made available on support.beko.com from 1 March 2021).
In addition, to ensure the safety of the product and to avoid the risk of serious injury, the stated self-
repair must be performed in accordance with the instructions in the self-repair manual or available at
support.beko.com. For safety reasons, disconnect the power plug from the product before attempting
any self-repair.
Repairs and attempted repair by end users of parts not included in this list and/or where the
instructions in the self-repair manual or available on support.beko.com are not followed, may
result in security issues that cannot be assigned to Beko and they will void the warranty of the
product.
For this reason, we strongly advise against end-users attempting to make repairs on their own
that fall outside the specified spare parts list and, in such situations, relying on an authorized
professional mechanic or registered professional mechanics. However, such attempts by end
users may cause safety issues and damage to the product and result in fire, flooding, electric
shock and serious personal injury.
For example, but not limited to, the following repairs should be performed by authorized professional
mechanics or registered professional mechanics: motor, pump assembly, motherboard, motor panel, display
panel, heater, etc.
The manufacturer/seller cannot be held liable if end users do not follow the above instructions.
The availability of the spare parts of the washer or washer-dryer you have purchased is 10 years. During this
period, the original spare parts are available for the correct operation of the washing machine or washer-dryer
combination.
