Preparation
Remove the test
strip from the
packet.
Turn on the tap and
let the water run for
about a minute.
Hold the test strip in
the water for about
a second.
Remove the test
strip from the water
and shake it.
Wait for 1 minute. The test strip shows
you the hardness
level.
After determining hardness level of the supply water:
1. Turn on the machine, press and hold Time Delay and Programme keys simultaneously for 3
seconds to enter the settings menu.
2. Press the programme key until the Salt indicator starts to flash. Current regeneration stage
is displayed on the programme indicator.
3. Using Time Delay key, adjust water hardness level according to the hardness of the supply
water. See “Water hardness level adjustment table” for correct setting.
4. Press On / Off key to save the setting.

In order to protect your glassware against glass corrosion in an optimal way, you have to
perform the same hardness settings, which you have made in the control panel, with the
regeneration setting switch.
For example, if you have adjusted to “3rd level” in the control panel, also set the regeneration
adjustment switch to 3rd level.
