Cleaning and maintenance

WARNING:
Before performing
cleaning or maintenance, turn off
the appliance, disconnect the mains
plug from the wall socket and wait
until the appliance has completely
cooled down.
•
Do not immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids.
•
Never use scouring agents or solvents.
•
Clean the ventilation openings with either a soft
dry brush or a small vacuum cleaner. If the ap-
pliance has not been used for a long time, the
openings may be dirty and blocked by dust and
grime.
•
Clean the exterior of the appliance with a soft
damp cloth. Use a small amount of neutral deter-
gent if necessary. Dry the appliance thoroughly
with a dry clean cloth.
•
When the appliance is not being used for a pro-
longed period of time, remove the power cord
and store the appliance somewhere where it
will be protected from dust and environmental
influences.
•
Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
If it does not work properly, replace it with a new
one.
