ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION:  Make  sure  your  installation  complies  with  the  local 
authorities  and  with  the  appropriate  NFPA  Standards,  which  are 
available from the National Fire Prevention Association. 

 
The LHP model dust collector comes fully assembled. All you have to do is to 
connect the fan intake to pick up points using flexible ducting. 
 
For  the  2HP  wheel,  you  have  the  choice  of  a  single  6"  intake  or  a  multiple 
inlet  plenum  with  one  5"Ø  intake  and  one  3"Ø  intake.  For  the  3HP  model, 
you  have  the  choice  of  a  single  7"Ø  intake  or  a  multiple  inlet  plenum  with 
one 5"Ø intake, one 4"Ø intake and one 3"Ø intake.

A. 

Fan  wheel  is  designed  for  light  material  loading  (sanding  dust, 
sawdust, etc.).  Severe damage may be caused to the fan by allowing 
blocks of wood or other foreign objects to enter the fan. 

 
 
B. 

On initial  start up with clean filters and a minimum of ducting on fan 
inlet,  motor  overload  may  trip.    Should  this  occur,  you  must  restrict 
the air flow on the air inlet opening by installing a blast gate complete 
with locking  device.    This is  usually a temporary measure until filters 
build up a dust cake and create the required resistance.  The models 
equipped  with  a  2HP  240V  –  1  phase  motor  have  a  manual  reset 
button on the motor.
