The scanner should be used only with the power cord that was supplied with. If you are
unsure, please contact BBH Scanners at 1-800-SCAN-494 (800-722-6494).
•
BBH recommends plugging the scanner into an appropriately-rated power conditioner. For
further information, please contact BBH Scanners at 1-800-SCAN-494 (800-722-6494).
•
Always turn the power off and unplug the power cord from the wall receptacle before
cleaning the scanner.
•
When cleaning, only use BBH-approved cleaners. Do not use any type of solutions,
abrasives, or acids such as acetone, benzene, kerosene, mineral spirits, ammonia, or nitric
acid. Do not use any cleaners that contain these chemicals.
•
Use a dry or damp lint free cloth for cleaning the scanner.
•
Do not spray any liquids directly onto the scanner. Spray the Glass and Roller Cleaning
Fluid (S005659) directly onto the cleaning cloth and use the cloth to clean the scanner.
•
Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of batteries according
to the instructions. REPLACEMENT OF BATTERIES IS TO BE PERFORMED BY BBH
AUTHORIZED SERVICE PERSONELL ONLY!
