7.1.1.1 Information Section
Within the Information section of the User’s Setup Device screen, there are two buttons:
Device Info
; and
Operation Info
.
Device Info Button
Clicking the
Device Info
button displays the Device Info screen from which version information,
various scanner settings, installed options, and other scanner controls are displayed. The
information provided is segregated into categories, which are: Device; Firmware; Settings;
Network Image Output Options; Electronics; and Mechanics.
The information displayed in the Device Info screen is not only helpful to the scanner operator,
but also to the scanner administrator, a service technician, or to BBH Tech Support.
Operation Info Button
Clicking the
Operation Info
button displays a table that lists hardware operating facts about the
scanner.
OPERATIONAL INFORMATION DESCRIPTION
Total Scan Count
The total number of scans performed since the scanner left the
factory. Each CCD scan cycle is counted, regardless of it being a
pre-scan or a full scan.
Total Power Up Cycles
The total number of power up cycles performed since the
scanner left the factory. This function counts the start/stop button
invoked cycles only.
Total Operating Time
The total operating time since the scanner left the factory. This is
the on-time only, standby time does not count.
Lamp Operating Time
The total lamp operating time since the scanner left the factory.
This is the on-time including the dimmed lamp periods.
Remaining Lamp Operating Time
The typical remaining lifetime of the lamps. The Infinity
WF scanner lamps last for the lifetime of the scanner.
