Note
This utility is for advanced testing of your Network environment. It is highly
recommended that only IT/Network personnel or the Help Desk use this utility. It is
not recommended that you run this utility unless you are knowledgeable in its
purpose.
Note
The
Back to Test Suite
button found on and throughout the various screens
accessible from the
Network Analyzer Screen
(see
Figures 7.35
and
7.37
as
examples), performs the same action as the
Back to Main Menu
button. This may
change in future firmware revisions (>5.00).
Perform Speed Test Button
Clicking the Perform Speed Test button
displays the Network Analyzing Parameters
screen, from which the Poweruser can
determine the data transfer speed of the
network where an Infinity WF scanner is
installed.
To run a Speed Test, perform the
following:
1. Enter the scanner’s IP address;
2. Enter the number of packets that should
be sent for testing; and
3. Click
the
Perform Now
button to run the
test.

To run the test again, click the
New
Values
button (this uses the same IP
address)

Packet Statistics Button
Clicking the
Packet Statistics
button
displays the Packet Statistics screen, from
which the Poweruser can review and
analyze the results of Speed Test in
conjunction with the packets sent during
testing.
