INFLATING SPORTS BALLS OR OTHER HIGH PRESSURE SMALL INFLATABLES
USING A VEHICLE 12 VOLT DC CIGARETTE LIGHTER SOCKET TO INFLATE SPORTS BALLS AND OTHER
HIGH PRESSURE SMALL INFLATABLES:
1.
Remove and unwind 12 Volt power cord from the storage compartment. See #22 in figure 1, page 3.
2.
Extend air hose from its storage location (see #7 & #9 in figure 1) and select one of the small adapter needles pro-
vided in the storage compartment. See figure 3, page 3.
3.
Attach the adapter needle to the air hose nozzle by turning the adapter needle clockwise.
4.
Insert adapter needle into inflatable.
5.
Make certain the inflator main and inflator power switches are both in the off position. See #1 & #2 in figure 1.
6.
Set emergency brake and start vehicle engine. See “Warning: Vehicle Exhaust Without Proper Ventilation”, page 4.
7.
Plug inflator lighter plug into vehicle 12 Volt cigarette lighter socket.
8.
Turn on the main power switch only. See #1 in figure 1.
NOTE:
When the nozzle is connected correctly, wait 5-7 seconds and the gauge will indicate the current inflatable item’s
pressure. Always follow the manufacturer’s inflation pressure recommendations to avoid over-inflation. If the inflatable
item is over-inflated, press the deflation bleeder valve button to release air until pressure gauge indicates the correct pres-
sure. See #8 in figure 1.
When inflating items requiring 10 PSI or less, inflate in short bursts and check by feel or by a reliable measuring device to
determine accurate pressure.
The pressure gauge has a built-in memory and will default to the last pressure set in the pressure gauge display of the
inflator.
The pressure gauge on the inflator is for reference only and is therefore not binding for exact values. While inflating, the
gauge is a measurement of the fluctuating pressure between the tire and the high pressure hose. To reduce the risk of
over-inflation, use a reliable pressure gauge periodically during inflation before driving a vehicle inflated with the inflator.
9.
Check manufacturer’s recommended pressure specifications for inflatable.
10. Choose the desired pressure format (PSI, BAR, or KPA) by pressing the “R” button. Press “R” button until desired pres-
sure format appears on the LCD display. See #5 in figure 2.
IMPORTANT:
The “R” re-set button should never be pressed while the air hose is connected to the inflatable and the
“R”,”+”, “–“ buttons should never be pressed while the inflator is running. If the “R” button is accidently pressed, turn the
inflator power switch only to the off position (see #2 in figure 1), then press and hold down “–“ to check the pre-set pres-
sure. See #6 in figure 2. Adjust “+” or “–“ to set desired pressure.
11. Set the auto shut-off pressure level by pressing the “+” or “–“ buttons. Once the pre-set pressure is set, wait a few
seconds for the display to change back to zero.
12. Turn on inflator power switch to the HI position. See #2 in figure 1. The BellAire™ 7000 will now inflate your inflat-
able item to the pre-set pressure level and then shut off automatically. After pre-set auto shut-off has taken place,
turn inflator power switch to the off (middle) position. See #2 in figure 1.
13. To stop inflator before reaching the pre-set auto shut-off pressure, turn inflator power switch to the off (middle) posi-
tion. See #2 in figure 1.
14. Remove air hose nozzle from inflatable, remove adapter needle from air hose nozzle by turning the adapter needle
counterclockwise, and return air hose and adapter needle to their storage locations on inflator.
15. Turn off the inflator main power switch. See #1 in figure 1.
16. Unplug inflator from vehicle 12 Volt cigarette lighter socket and store cord in its storage compartment.
17. Turn off vehicle.
18. Properly store your tire inflator in the carry bag provided.
USING THE INTERNAL RECHARGEABLE BATTERY TO INFLATE SPORTS BALLS, OR OTHER HIGH PRESSURE
SMALL INFLATABLES:
1.
Extend air hose from its storage location (see #7 & #9 in figure 1, page 3) and select one of the small adapter needles
provided in the storage compartment. See figure 3, page 3.

3.
Insert adapter needle into inflatable.
NOTE:
