BellAire™ Model 7000 Tire Inflator Instructions
Always follow the manufacturer’s inflation pressure recommendations to avoid over-inflation. If the tire is over-inflated,
press the deflation bleeder valve button to release air until pressure gauge indicates the correct pressure. See #8 in
figure 1.
The pressure gauge has a built-in memory and will default to the last tire pressure set in the pressure gauge display of the
inflator.
The pressure gauge on the inflator is for reference only and is therefore not binding for exact values. While inflating, the
gauge is a measurement of the fluctuating pressure between the tire and the high pressure hose. To reduce the risk of
over-inflation, use a reliable pressure gauge periodically during inflation before driving a vehicle inflated with the inflator.
10. Turn on inflator power switch to the HI position. See #2 in figure 1. The BellAire™ 7000 will now inflate your tire to
the pre-set pressure level and then shut off automatically. After pre-set auto shut-off has taken place, turn inflator
power switch to the off (middle) position. See #2 in figure 1.
11. To stop inflator before reaching the pre-set auto shut-off pressure, turn inflator power switch to the off (middle) posi-
tion. See #2 in figure 1.
12. Remove air hose nozzle from vehicle tire valve stem by turning air hose nozzle counterclockwise and return air hose
to its built-in storage location on inflator.
13. Turn off the inflator main power switch.
14. Unplug inflator from vehicle 12 Volt cigarette lighter socket and store cord in its storage compartment.
15. Turn off vehicle.
16. Properly store your tire inflator in the carry bag provided.
USING THE INTERNAL RECHARGEABLE BATTERY TO INFLATE TIRES:
1.
Turn on the main power switch only. See #1 in figure 1, page 3.
2.
Check the inflator to make certain green battery level indicator is on indicating a good battery power level. If the bat-
tery level indicator is not green, refer to directions under the “Rechargeable Battery Cautions” section on page 4 and
“Battery Indicator Light Chart” section on page 5.
3.
Check manufacturer’s recommended tire pressure specifications indicated on the tire sidewall.
4.
Choose the desired pressure format (PSI, BAR, or KPA) by pressing the “R” button. Press “R” button until desired pres-
sure format appears on the LCD display. See #5 in figure 2, page 3.
IMPORTANT:
The “R” re-set button should never be pressed while the air hose is connected to the tire and the “R”,”+”, “–“
buttons should never be pressed while the tire inflator is running. If the “R” button is accidently pressed, turn the inflator
power switch only to the off position (see #2 in figure 1), then press and hold down “–“ to check the pre-set pressure. See
#6 in figure 2. Adjust “+” or “–“ to set desired pressure.
5.
Set the auto shut-off pressure level by pressing the “+” or “–“ buttons. Once the pre-set pressure is set, wait a few
seconds for the display to change back to zero.
6.
Extend the air hose from its storage location and attach air hose nozzle to vehicle tire valve stem by threading the
nozzle onto the stem clockwise until secure. See #7 & #9 in figure 1.
NOTE:
When the nozzle is connected correctly, wait 5-7 seconds and the gauge will indicate the current tire pressure. Al-
ways follow the manufacturer’s inflation pressure recommendations to avoid over-inflation. If the tire is over-inflated, press
the deflation bleeder valve button to release air until pressure gauge indicates the correct pressure. See #8 in figure 1.
