WALL MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
Your BellAire™ 7000 has been designed as a wall mountable inflator for ease of storage and charging the internal battery. See figure 5,
page 3. The wall mounting template includes options for wood wall stud mount (recommended) or dry wall anchor mount. Drywall anchors
or wood screws are not included in the inflator purchase.
To mount inflator on a wood wall stud
(recommended mounting)
:
1.
Choose a suitable wall with a 110V power outlet that can be used to recharge inflator internal battery.
2.
Choose a location on the wall that will be within reach of the 110V wall outlet.
3.
Align the mounting template at the desired wall location ensuring the center of key hole slots 2 & 4 align with the center of the wood
wall stud.
4.
Place a mark at the center “+” of the upper small circle of key hole slots 2 & 4.
5.
Install #10 x 2” (minimum length) long screws into the wood wall stud at the marks for key hole slots 2 & 4.
6.
Do not screw #10 screws completely into the wall. Stop the screw with the screw head about ¾” from the wall surface.
7.
After inserting both screws, test the fit of the inflator by aligning the larger lower circle of key holes slots 2 & 4 with the head of the
screws in the wall.
8.
Slide inflator down over the screws ensuring both screw heads are inserted inside each of the key slot openings.
If the inflator feels loose, remove inflator and tighten screws into wall a little at a time and recheck the fit. Repeat this process until inflator
mounting feels snug to the wall. If the inflator is too tight to hang, remove inflator and unscrew the screws a little at a time and recheck the
fit. Repeat this process until inflator mounting feels snug to the wall.
To mount to dry wall using drywall anchors
(optional)
:
1.
Choose a suitable wall with a 110V power outlet that can be used to recharge inflator internal battery.
2.
Choose a location on the wall that will be within reach of the 110V wall outlet and provide maximum use of the coiled air hose length.
3.
Align the mounting template at the desired wall location and place a mark at the center “+” of the upper small circle of key hole slots 1 &
3.
4.
Install drywall anchors at marked locations with #10 x 2” (minimum length) long screws per the drywall anchor manufacturer’s instruc
-
tions. Use caution and make certain the screws will not puncture anything behind the dry wall.
5.
Do not screw #10 screws completely into drywall anchors. Stop the screw with the screw head about ¾” from the face of the anchor.
6.
After inserting both screws, test the fit of the inflator by aligning the larger lower circle of key holes slots 1 & 3 with the head of the
screws in the wall.
7.
Slide inflator down over the screws ensuring both screw heads are inserted inside each of the key slot openings.
8.
If the inflator feels loose, remove inflator and tighten screws into anchors a little at a time and recheck the fit. Repeat this process until
inflator mounting feels snug to the wall. If the inflator is too tight to hang, remove inflator and unscrew the screws a little at a time and
recheck the fit. Repeat this process until inflator mounting feels snug to the wall.
NOTE:
Additional mounting strength may be obtained by using key hole slot # 2 OR #4 in addition to key hole slots #1 & #3 above and
mounting one of them into a wood wall stud. You do not need to use a drywall anchor for key hole slot #2 or #4 when mounting into a wall
stud. Use only a #10 x 2” (minimum length) long pan head wood screw.
