How to Use Your Bellini

4 Slice Countdown

Toaster

Before using the appliance for the first time,
carefully unpack and remove all packaging
material.

Attention

: You may experience odors when the

appliance is operated on for the first time.  To
avoid any discomfort, place the Toaster in a well-
ventilated area for 10 minutes when switched on
and operated for the first time.

Plug the Toaster into a standard domestic
power outlet and switch the power outlet on.

Place bread into the bread slots and press the
toasting lever down until it locks into position. The
toaster commences operation, 5 blue LED lights
count down gradually to indicate the toasting
progress.

Place only 1 slice of bread into each toasting
slots. Ensure the bread slices are not to large or
thick to fit in the slots. If you only toast one or two
slices of bread, push down the toasting lever
of the side of the appliance where you have
placed the bread. If you toast three or four slices
of bread, push down both toasting levers.

Note: The lever will not lock into position

if the Toaster is not plugged into a

power outlet or if the power outlet is not

switched on.

Adjust the variable browning control to the
desired toast colour setting. Choose a setting
based on the type of bread you are toasting and
your personal preference. Start on a low/medium
setting (3 - 5) and adjust the variable browning
control to a lighter setting (1- 2) or darker setting
(6-9).

Note: The condition of the bread will

determine how quickly it toasts. Dry or

stale bread toasts faster than fresh

bread.

When toasting is completed, the toast will pop
up and the Toaster will switch off automatically.
Toasting may be interrupted during the cycle by
pushing the Cancel button. Toasting will stop and
the toast will pop-up.

Allow the Toaster 15 to 20 seconds to cool before
beginning the next toasting cycle. This
permits the electronically controlled thermostat

to reset for the next toasting cycle.

Note: Do not touch the Toaster walls

when the Toaster is in use.

WARNING: Do not leave toaster

unattended when it is in use as toast

may jam or wedge in the bread

carriage.

CAUTION: Do not use a knife or another

sharp metal tool to remove bread from

the toaster and do not touch the metal

internal parts of the toaster.

Reheat Button

Toast can be reheated by placing cold toast in
the bread slots, lowering the lever and pressing
the reheat button. The reheat light will come on
and the toast will be reheated over a short, fixed
period of time.

Note: When using the reheat function,

keep a close eye on the bread to ensure

it doesn’t burn.

Cancel Function

The toasting cycle can be stopped at any stage
by pressing the Cancel button. The toast will pop
up and the Toaster will switch off automatically.

Defrost Function

The defrost function is useful for thawing and
toasting frozen bread all in one operation.
Adjust the variable browning control to the
desired toast colour setting. Start on a low/
medium setting (3 - 5) and adjust the variable
browning control to a lighter setting (1-2) or
darker setting (6-9) depending on your personal
preference.

Place frozen bread or crumpets into the bread
slots.

Press the lever down to the locked position and
press the defrost button. The defrost light will
illuminate.

When thawing and toasting is complete, the
toast will automatically pop-up and the Toaster
will switch off automatically.
