(Routing the Equalizer Cables)
Refer to illustrations on Page 10.
1. Raise and lock each carriage approximately 28”
above the ground. (See Fig. 10.1)
2. With the carriages locked at 28” off the fl oor,
route the
threaded end of the equalizer cable across to the opposite
side base plate sheave and up through the carriage.
(See Fig. 10.2)
3.
Route the threaded end up and over the Top Plate
sheave and back down to the carriage and reinstall
sheave. (See Fig. 10.3)

WARNING !
WHEN ROUTING HYDRAULIC HOSES THROUGH
THE POSTS, ROUTE HOSES THROUGH THE HOSE
CLIPS WELDED ON EACH POST. MAKE SURE THAT
THE HOSE IS CLEAR OF ANY MOVING PARTS. IT
MAY BE NECESSARY TO TIE THE HOSES CLEAR BY
USING NYLON TIE STRAPS OR WIRE. FAILURE TO
KEEP THE HYDRAULIC HOSES CLEAR MAY RESULT
IN THE HYDRAULIC HOSES TO FAIL, WHICH MAY
RESULT IN DAMAGE OR PERSONAL HARM.
NOTE:
POWER PORT LOCATION IN HYDRAULIC POWER
UNIT MAY VARY. CONFIRM THE LOCATION OF THE
POWER PORT ENCLOSED IN THE POWER UNIT

MAKE SURE THAT THE SAFETY LOCKS ON EACH
POST ARE FULLY ENGAGED BEFORE ATTEMPTING
TO ROUTE EQUALIZER CABLES AND/OR HOSES.
CARRIAGES MUST BE EQUAL HEIGHT FROM THE
FLOOR BEFORE PROCEEDING.
NOTE:
THERE WILL BE INITIAL STRETCHING OF THE
CABLES AND/OR WITH INCREASED LOADS.
ADJUST THE CABLES AS OUTLINED ABOVE A
WEEK AFTER FIRST USE, THEN EVERY THREE TO
SIX MONTHS THEREAFTER DEPENDING ON USAGE
AND/OR TO COMPENSATE FOR STRETCH.
