CHECKS BEFORE RIDING

COOLING FLUID CHECK

Cooling fluid level

Before using the bike, always check the

level of cooling fluid. It is also necessary

to change cooling fluid at the intervals

specific in the periodical maintenance

and lubrication sheet.

To check the level of the cooling fluid:

1. Place the vehicle on a flat surface and

keep it upright.

2. Remove rear saddle.

3. Remove the two screws “A” and then

remove the front saddle.

4. Remove the two side cover left and

right by the screws “B”.

5. Remove the tank cover by the 4

screws “C”.

6. Check the level.

The liquid level must be between the

min. and max. levels.

If this is not the case, reset the level as

described in the specific section.

The level of liquid refrigerant must be

measured while the engine is cool, since

it varies according to engine temperatu-

re.

STOP LIGHT CHECKS

• Turn the key to “ ”

• Pull the front brake lever and press the

rear brake pedal alternatively and

make sure that the light switches on.

• Make sure the rear light is not

damaged or dirty.

DIRECTION TURN CHECKS

• Turn the key to “ ”.

• Use the indicator switch and make sure

that they flash.

REAR VIEW MIRROR CHECK

Sit in the saddle and adjust the mirrors

for a correct vision behind you.

Make sure that mirrors are not damaged

or dirty.
