FRONT AND REAR BRAKES
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF REAR BRAKE PADS
Removal:
•
Remove the two fastening screws “A” from the brake calli-
per Fig. A.
•
Remove the centering pin “B” from the pads, freeing it from
the safety O-ring “C”.
NOTE
During the extraction phase of the pin “B”, it is necessary to hold
down the safety spring “X” Fig.A
Take out:
•
The brake pads “D” and shims “E” Fig.B.
Measure:
•
The wear limit for the brake pads.
If outside specifi cations, replace the brake pads as a block.

Fitting:
•
Proceed to install, following the steps for removal in reverse
order.
Check:
•
The brake fl uid level “B” Fig.C
If below the minimum notch, top up with the recommended bra-
ke fl uid until it is at the correct level.
Check:
• Brake pedal operation.
If the brake lever is soft or spongy to the touch, bleed the brake
circuit.
