Capturing movie clips
1. Turn the power on, and set the camera to the Movie Record mode.
2. Compose the subject on the monitor.
•
Aim the focus area the subject.
•
The LCD monitor displays the available capturing time.
3. Start capturing.
•
Press the shutter button to start capturing.
•
Use the zoom button to adjust the image size.
• Sound cannot be captured while pressing the zoom button.
• You can use optical zoom in movie capturing.
4. Finish capturing.
•
Press the shutter again to end capturing.
•
The camera will stop capturing automatically when the memory capacity has been
reached.

Capturing audio clips
1. Turn the power on, and set the camera to the voice capture mode.
2. Press the shutter button to start capturing.
•
Audio is captured from the microphone of the camera. Be careful to avoid touching
the microphone while capturing.
3. Press the shutter button again to end capturing.
•
The camera will stop capturing automatically when the memory capacity has been
reached.
Battery Type
To ensure the camera displays battery level correctly, set the type to match the
batteries used. Carbon-Zinc batteries are not recommended.
[Alkaline]
When using Alkaline batteries.
[NiMH]
When using NiMH batteries.
[Lithium]
When using Lithium batteries.
[Oxyride]
When using Oxyride batteries.
Reset All
Resets the entire menu and button operation settings to initial default.
The following settings do not change after Reset All:
Date & Time setting
Language setting
TV Format setting
Battery Type
Menu item
