3.4.4 Setup mode
3.4.4.1
Setup menu
This feature allows you to set up the default settings by preference for using your camera.
1. Rotate the mode dial to [
SET
] mode, and then press the
[
] button to turn on your camera.
Setup Mode menu is displayed on the LCD monitor.
2. Press [
] or [
] to scroll to the desired menu.
3. Use [
] or [
] to select the desired setting, and then
press the
OK
button.
4. To exit from the setup menu, rotate the mode dial to other
desired mode again.

This option sets whether the startup sound and the camera sound will be muted every
time when you press the camera buttons.

If no operation is performed for a specific period of time, the power to the camera is auto-
matically turned off. This feature is useful to reduce battery wear.

ting will not be reset.

This option sets whether the file number when you take photographs will be reset. This
creates a new folder. The captured images are recorded to the newly created folder from
number 0001. If you want to reset the file number, be sure that no images are recorded in
the internal memory or the SD memory card.
