4.3
Connecting to a PictBridge compliant printer
(optional feature)
Even if you do not have a computer, you can connect the camera directly to a printer that
supports PictBridge to perform image selection and printing by using the camera monitor
screen and controls.
Connecting the camera to the printer
1. Rotate the mode dial to [
SET
], and then press the [
]
button to turn on your camera.
2. Press [
] or [
] to scroll to [USB] menu.
3. Use [
] or [
] to select [Printer], and then press the
OK
button.
4. Connect your camera and the printer via a supplied USB
cable.
The screen turns off automatically and the setting screen
will appear on the monitor after seconds of time.
5. When the connection is established, you will be asked to
select [Print Images] or [Print DPOF].
6. Select the desired option, and then press the
OK
button
Print Images
1. If you select [Print Images], you will be prompted with a screen that allows you to set
[Size] and [Borderless] options.
2. Press [
] or [
] to access the option you would like to change, and then press [
] or
[
] to select your preferred setting.
3. Press the
OK
button to continue.
4. [More], [Print], and [Exit] options will be displayed on the bottom of the LCD monitor.

You may press [
] or [
] to switch other preferred images.
•
The [More] option allows you to set [Copies], [Date], and [File Name].
•
The [Print] option allows you to proceed with the printing directly.
•
The [Exit] option allows you to cancel the action.
•
The functions described above may differ due to the design of the printer you connect to.
