Playing a recordable DVD
If a recordable DVD is protected against recording (DVD+RW) or has been finalized
(DVD+R), the DVD Recorder will play the disc automatically. If it doesn’t, you can manually
start play. See below.
If a recordable DVD can be edited (it is either unprotected or not finalized), then the Picture
Index list will display. In that case, use the
Up
or
Down
button on the remote
control to select the title you wish to play from the list and then press the
OK
or
Play/pause
button.
3. Press the
Up
or
Down
button to select ’
Feature
’, and then press the
Right
button.
4. Press the
Up
or
Down
button to select ’
Adapt Disc Format
’, and then press
the
OK
button.
How to start playing a DVD:
To start playing a stopped or paused disc, press either:
- the
Play/pause
button on the remote control; or
- the
Play
button on the DVD Recorder.
The current title/chapter and playing time
information will display momentarily on screen.
How to start playing a DVD recorded on other DVD
recorders:
- DVD+R
A DVD+R disc recorded by other DVD recorders
must be finalized on that DVD recorder before it
can be played by your DE320.
To start playing the DVD+R disc, press either:
- the
Play/pause
button on the remote control;
or
- the
Play
button on the DVD Recorder.
- DVD+RW
Before you start playing a DVD+RW disc recorded
on other DVD recorders, you need to take the
following steps to make the disc menu system
created on other DVD recorders compatible to that
of the DE320. This operation only needs to be
performed once.
1. Insert the DVD+RW disc and then press the
Stop
button on the remote control.
2. Press the
button on the remote control.
