Night Mode
Night mode optimizes the sound effect at low volume. You are therefore less likely to disturb
your neighbors with this thoughtful feature without reducing the fun of entertainment due to
low volume. Press the
OK
button to enable or disable night mode.
Feature Setup
You can select the following functions in this menu:
Access control
Refer to "Parental control" on page 90 for details.
Status Display
Along with the on-screen menu, the OSD (On Screen Display) displays information of the
current operating status (counter, playback, recording, TV channel, etc.) on the TV screen.
You can switch off the information about the operating status so that the on screen display
(OSD) is not recorded during recording. If enabled, the OSD information appears in every
selected mode for a few seconds and disappears again. Otherwise the OSD information is
switched off. It is no longer displayed on the screen.
Press the
OK
button to enable or disable this function.
Resume
If this function is enabled, when you interrupt the playback of a DVD or VCD by pressing the
Stop
button, the DVD Recorder will start playing it at the precise location where it
stopped when it is reloaded. This applies not only to the current disc but also to the last 20 discs
played.
Press the
OK
button to enable or disable this function.
Auto Standby
To save power, you can enable this function to let the DVD Recorder switch off the clock
display on the front display panel. The Timer recordings will still take place.
