Exchanger and Leaks on the Top Water se on
The heat exchange has a triplex (double tube) heat exchange as a requirement AS 2712, this special heat
exchanger has a “Air Gap” between the Refrigerant Circuit and the Water circuit, this is case of a failure
of either pipe due to corrosion or over pressure failure.
The Atmosphere vented port is indicated in a drawing below.
In the event the system has water leaking from the top sec on of the unit a Benson Global authorized
agent should be called to check the system. Do not a mpt to repair the system yourself, this can void
warranty, or worse there is live electrical wiring in the area (Electrical Shock). Please turn the power of
the unit and turn of the water supply.
Other parts in this area are Stainless steel bendable pipe for connec on from the casing to the Pump,
and the Flow device (copper tube) in total there are 6 seals on G type
