GSM/GPRS Alarm Communicators
INTRODUCTION
Devices in the BGSM-100 and BGSM-120 series are GSM communicators which, in the absence of a PSTN line, transmit
vocal and digital alarms to System III or System II receivers, via GPRS. There are three models available for each series:
—
The
BGSM-100KCA
and
BGSM-120KCA
kits including GSM/GPRS communicator electronic card and antenna with 25 cm wire;
—
The
BGSM-100KEA
and
BGSM-120KEA
kits including GSM/GPRS communicator electronic card, antenna with 2 mt
wire and metal support;
—
The
BGSM-100BA
and
BGSM-120BA
kits, including GSM/GPRS communicator, antenna with 25 cm wire and metal casing.
All information relating to a specific model shall be attested to by reference to the the corresponding code. The word
“Communicator” is being used to describe functions which are common to the various models. This manual provides
programming and operation of the GSM/GPRS alarm Communicator. If there are any special installation requirements, the
remote
ANT-EU
outdoor antenna and the magnetic
BGSM-100CA
or
BGSM-120CA
antenna with 25 cm wire may be used.

This Communicator is fixed and shall be installed by Service Persons only (service person is defined as a
person having the appropriate technical training and experience necessary to be aware of hazards to which that
person may be exposed in performing a task and of measures to minimize the risks to that person or other
persons). It shall be installed and used within an environment that provides the pollution degree max 2, over
voltages category II, in non-hazardous, indoor locations only. This manual shall be used with the Installation
Manual of the alarm control panel. All instructions specified within that manual must be observed.
