Cleaning and maintenance
The probe window must be kept clean and dry, to ensure accuracy of reading; to clean
this extremely delicate part, use a soft cloth slightly dampened with a 75% isopropyl
alcohol disinfectant solution. Do not use abrasive detergents. Do not use chemicals other
than isopropyl alcohol to clean the probe window.
After cleaning, wait at least 10 minutes to allow the thermometer to dry completely before
using it. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean outer body and display.
Warning: do not immerse thermometer in water.
Store the thermometer in a clean, dry environment, away from dust, dirt and other conta-
minants, and away from direct sunlight.
Strong electromagnetic fields may compromise the correct operation of the thermometer.
It’s better to store the thermometer in its original box when not in use.
