System settings
(System Configuration menu)
The basic device settings can be adjusted in the System Configuration menu. This menu is
described in detail in the following chapter.
Using the App
Calling up and
using the
menu
Make the connection to the sound system (see the chapter entitled “
First
steps
”), and call up System Settings using the App’s
button. Now
select the menu point you wish to alter, and adjust the settings
accordingly. Every change in the settings takes immediate effect, and is
stored.
Settings
Device name
menu point
The purpose of this menu point is to enter an individual name for the
sound system. The sound system then appears on the home network
(WLAN) under this name.
Music services
menu point
At this point you can enter the access data for the music streaming
services which are supported by the sound system.
Bandwidth
limit
menu point
This menu point can be used to define the connection speed of your
Internet connection; the bitrate of the Internet radio stations and
streaming services is then automatically adjusted to suit the setting you
have entered. If the bandwidth limit is set to “
none
”, the system
automatically selects the highest available quality in every case.
If you do not know the exact bandwidth of your Internet connection, you
should choose the setting at which no drop-outs occur during playback.
